St Michael’s Community Centre opens in early 2007 offering a brand new venue for the local community and beyond. An extension to the popular 19th century church, St Michael & All Angels, it offers beautifully well appointed space to host any event for all age groups.
High ceilings, a courtyard area and a 2 minute walk from the Thames make St Michael’s Community Centre a unique space in Barnes. Communications are also first class. Barnes Bridge Station is a 2 minute walk following The Thames and the 209 bus route is a 10 minute journey to Hammersmith with Piccadilly, District and Hammersmith and city line underground connections.
The Barnes community ranges across all groups: young and old, business and private and the new Community Centre is focused on offering opportunities for all those groups. | The Community Centre has been designed to the highest specification. The space boasts high ceilings, natural sunlight from above, underfloor heating, sprung floors, air conditioning and fantastic acoustics. There is also an integral music system, a well equipped kitchen plus disabled and baby changing toilet facilities. |
