Monday 4th November from 8-9.30pm
Dear Parishioners and Friends,
Since we last communicated with you about the Church Hall project we’ve been approaching a range of firms who might be able to fulfil the brief that arose out of our earlier public consultation with you. This has taken rather longer than we expected. However, we are pleased to say that we have received attractive designs from a company that do seem to suit all the stated needs and aims, and we’d like to share these with you for your reflections and feedback.
To begin that process we’d like to invite you to a Community Open Evening in the Church Hall on Monday 4th November from 8-9.30pm. Members of PCC will be present, and we hope to have with us a representative from the company, along with some images and further information about what the next stages might look like. As on the previous occasion, refreshments will be provided, and the style is informal, enabling you to come and go at any point during the evening.
We’d like to stress that this isn’t the only chance to see and comment on these initial designs. We intend to have them on display in the church, and possibly also the Church Hall itself for some time afterwards. A feedback form will be provided that can be picked up at the Open Evening, in church, or downloaded from the website.
We do hope you will be able to take part in this next stage of consultation and we look forward to providing a wonderful new facility for our parish and wider community.
With best wishes and prayers,
Father Stephen, Vicar
On behalf of the Wardens and PCC of Saint Michael & All Angels, Barnes.
