PALM SUNDAY – Sunday 14th April
9.45am – Palm Procession with donkey from White Hart Lane (meet at level crossings
10.00am  – Sung Mass with dramatised reading of the Passion in church
(Sunday School in the Vicarage Garden – see bottom of page for more details)

Monday 15th April – Wednesday 17th April, 7.30pm
s a special contemplative service each evening
Monday – Silent Prayer before the Blessed Sacrament
Tuesday – Prayer for Healing
Wednesday – Sung Compline (Night Prayer)
Confessions heard before each service or by appointment.

MAUNDY THURSDAY – Thursday 18th April
8.00pm – Sung Mass of the Last Supper with Washing of the Feet, Stripping of the Altars and Watch at the Altar of Repose until midnight

GOOD FRIDAY – Friday 19th April
9.00am – Morning Prayer with Litany and Meditations
10.00am – Liturgy of the Passion with Veneration of the Cross
11.30am – Barnes Walk of Witness (begins from the corner of Castlenau and Church Rd by the Red Lion)
3.00pm – Children’s Good Friday Service

HOLY SATURDAY – Saturday 20th April
9.00am – Morning Prayer with Litany

EASTER DAY – Sunday 21st April
5.45am – Dawn Liturgy and First Mass of Easter followed by breakfast and sparkling wine
8.00am – Mass
10.00am – Sung Parish Mass for all the family with blessing and distribution of Easter Eggs
No Evensong

Holy Week & Easter Services for Children

Children are welcome to EVERY service at St Michael’s.  However, some services are specially designed for children during this season.

PALM SUNDAY: Join the 9.45am procession complete with donkey from White Hart Lane, or come directly to the Vicarage garden (end of Elm Bank Gardens) at 10.00am for a special Children’s Service ( Church Hall if wet).  Donkey rides follow in the Vicarage garden until noon.

GOOD FRIDAY: 3.00pm Interactive Children’s Good Friday Service in church followed by Hot Cross buns in the Community Centre.

EASTER DAY: The 10.00am Sung Mass of Easter is a joyous and fun service for all the family and includes the blessing and distribution of Easter eggs – sometimes with rolling and throwing too!
